At Chowan Golf & Country Club, the true centerpiece is our beautifully maintained 18-hole golf course. Designed by renowned golf course architect Ellis Maples, the layout winds through towering southern pines, picturesque wetlands, and scenic ponds, creating a memorable experience that is both challenging and enjoyable for golfers of every skill level.
Playing to a par of 72 and stretching 6,483 yards from the back tees, the course offers exceptional playing conditions and a rewarding test for golfers of all abilities. Whether you’re enjoying a casual round with friends or competing in one of our club events, you’ll appreciate the thoughtful design, outstanding course conditions, and the natural beauty that surrounds every hole.
Before your round, warm up on our driving range and practice green to fine-tune your game. We are committed to continually enhancing the golf experience through ongoing course improvements, ensuring excellent conditions for members, guests, and visiting golfers alike. Following the addition of several new tee boxes, the course was remeasured and rerated in 2011 to reflect its updated layout.
